4 houses. Datestone reads: "GEORGE/AND RACHEL/HEATON/1795",
end 2 bays, possibly earlier, have narrower gable end.
Dressed stone with stone slate and concrete tile roofs. 2
storeys, 5 bays, the last 2 bays are lower. Quoins to left
gable end. Most windows have C20 casements, but 2nd bay has
round-headed window with plain surround, imposts and keys to
1st floor and 1st 2 bays have 3-light flat-mullioned window,
with inserted casement window to end bay. Datestone in
architrave to 2nd bay. Plain entrances, those to Nos. 85
and 87 with gabled C20 porches. 1st 3 bays have concrete
tile roof. Gable-end stack to 3rd bay and 2 cross-axial
stacks to front of ridge to end bays. Rear has casement
windows, later part has flat-mullioned window extending
whole length of ground floor 16 lights, but one light
blocked and 6 mullions missing. Ground floor probably used
for textile manufacturer.
