Top o'th' Knotts Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Late C17, roof raised later C18; date stone reads: "ROBERT AND / MARY HASLAM / 1784". Dressed stone with quoins and slate roof, brick stacks. Two storeys, four bays. Ground floor has casement windows to first and third bays, the latter in former entrance. Second and fourth bays have windows with label moulds, the former with four-light single-chamfered mullions, the latter with casement. First floor has casement window; second bay has flat-faced-mullioned window of four4 lights. Plain entrances to first and second bays. Gable-end and cross-axial stacks. Rear has later outshut and four-light double-chamfered-mullioned window.
