Water-mill. C18, extended in the C19. Granite ashlar to original rear wheel-pit
wall, otherwise granite rubble. Partly roofed with cedar shingles. Gable ends.
Plan: Rectangular plan with older part on the right (roofless) and C19 part on the
left with integral rear outshut. Front wall proabably C19 and partly rebuilt at some
time. There are sockets for former, machinery in the rear left-hand corner of the
older part.
Exterior: Single storey, possibly formerly 2 storeys. Irregular east front has
doorway at far left and towards right. Circa early-C19 12-pane horizontally-sliding
sash towards left and blocked window openings on either side of the right-hand
doorway.
Interior: No surviving machinery visible. Roofed part not inspected. At
approximately 4 metres west of the wheel-pit wall is a dressed granite pier,
presumably supporting former launder from leat.
