Three cottages. C18 or earlier origins, altered and raised late C18/early
C19. Chalk ashlar to ground floor front wall, chalk rubble to ground floor
side walls; red brick to first floor. Colourwashed. Pantiled roof. Two
storeys, 3 bays, with rear wing. Boarded door to right of left bay behind
trellised porch under ramped lead roof. Three casements with glazing bars
under segmental brick arches. First floor has C20 swept dormers with
casements with glazing bars. Axial stacks, hipped roof. The datestone from
which the house derives its name was found c1970 incorporated into earlier
repairs within the house.
