Six almshouses: founded 1680 by Richard Boyle, 2nd Earl of Cork and 1st Earl
of Burlington and Lady Elizabeth Clifford, his wife, for 12 poor persons.
Red brick, pantiled roof. E-shaped plan: end bays and centre 2 bays
project, each bay under a separate hipped roof. Single storey, 8 bays. C20
glazed doors and casements with glazing bars, all under flat gauged brick
arches. Axial stacks, hipped roofs.
