Large house originally part of the Vicarage (now Grenville House
q.v.), probably the service wing. Early C19. Incised render front
with brick side and rubble stone rear, stone slate roof with
embattled parapet, 2 brick stacks. Long single ranqe with small
rear wing, extended in C20. Two storeys. Five windows, 16-pane
sashes in plain cemented surrounds to each side and 12-pane to
centre as 2/1/2. Ground floor has two 16-pane to left, central
doorcase with semi-circular stone soffit, decorative radial
fanlight and door of 6 recessed panels with beaded decorations. To
right a large segmental carriage arch now with garage door, and
blind window opening to far right. Rear facade has 2 large brick
relieving arches, and brick dressings to windows.
