House. C18 with late C18 alterations. Brick with moulded brick cornice string.
Parapet with stone coping to hipped old tile roof with leaf ridges. 2 storeys.
North front: main block of 3 bays, the centre bay a half octagon projection with
cornice carried round and stone blocking course, stone finials at angles of which
only one remains. 2 narrow upper windows, one on each angle face, ground floor
has one window on each side and entrance set back behind Doric columns on brick
plinths to corners. Under is a 6-panelled door, arched radiating and wreathed
wrought iron and cast lead fanlight in wood doorcase with panelled reveals,
panelled pilasters, broken entablature and open pediment. B.O.E. (Berkshire) P.258.
