Large country house. Late C18 altered C20. Brick, moulded and dentil brick
cornice, parapet with stone coping to low hipped slate roof, flanking
chimneys with offset dentil heads. L-shape plan with former service wing
and stables projecting on north west. Main house 3 storeys, service wing
2 storeys. South-east front: 6 bays sash windows with glazing bars, 6-
panelled door approached by 4 stone steps with plain iron balusters and
handrail in third bay from right, arched radiating fanlight in Ionic doorcase
of engaged columns, broken entablature, open pediment; C20 extension of 2
storeys to right fronting old service wing and single storey C20 extension
to left with glass balustraded terrace over.
