Formerly larger; now detached house. Late C16. Random rubble and
ashlar limestone; ashlar chimneys; plain tile roof. Two-storey
with attic. North front: large projecting lateral chimney stack to
right of centre with paired shafts and moulded caps; 3-window
fenestration, all 2-light recessed ovolo mullioned casements except
single ground floor 4-centred arched lancet with deep hood to right
of chimney; window over blocked central doorway also blocked and
cavetto moulded. West: gable with 3-light ovolo moulded casement
to ground floor; 2-light restored recessed chamfered to upper floor
and attic, all with hood moulds. East: altered with doorway having
moulded lintel and C20 door; C20 rebuilt ridge-mounted chimney.
South: central projecting gable with 2-light above 3-light ovolo
moulded mullioned casements, with sundial between; small ground
floor slit window on east side of gabled projection; to left, 3-
light cavetto moulded casement to each floor with hood to ground
floor only. Interior not inspected. Building is remaining
fragment of much larger house.
