Mullions and Bobble Farmhouse

Wall containing a recessed water conduit. Surround to conduit
dated and initialled 'W.S.S./1874' on a rectangular stone plaque
with raised surround over the recess. Wall probably of the same
date. Surround to water conduit; ashlar with partly brick trough.
Wall clOm in length and c3m in height. Water conduit recessed
into wall towards the right-hand end of the wall. Shallow-gabled
opening with flat-chamfered plinth. Round-headed recess with
imposts continued around the back of the recess to a lion's head
with a tap projecting from its mouth, pouring out over a trough
with a brick front. Iron grille over the trough. Small trefoil at
the apex of the gable. Single-storey lean-to at the left end of
the wall with a central C19 plank door flanked by small single-
light windows. One of a pair of matching water sources (q.v.
water conduit opposite Hillside House).
