GV II
House in row. Late C17-early C18. Coursed squared and dressed
limestone with dressed stone quoins. Concrete tile roof with brick
stacks on the stumps of former ashlar stacks. Rectangular plan.
Two storeys and attic. Three-windowed facade (incorporating the
left-hand bay of the earlier house to the right) with three 3-light
stone-mullioned casements to the ground floor and 3 two-light
casements to the first floor. All casements with stopped hoods and
horizontal glazing bars. Two 2-light C20 timber-clad dormers. C20
plank door with fleur-de-lys strap hinges and a concrete lintel at
centre of the main body. C20 plank door with fillets and deep
dressed stone lintel and stopped hood to through passage to the
right. Flat-chamfered basket-headed surround to doorway at rear.
Gable-end and axial stacks. Interior not inspected.
