Cartshed with granary over. c1700 with C19 addition. Coursed, squared stone and
pinkish brick in English bond; pantile roof with stone slates at eaves. 2 storeys,
4 bays with C19 cartshed and granary addition to north not of special interest.
South front: quoins; different masonry on right, possibly of earlier date; on left,
stone steps up to board granary door with a small window on its right, slatted and
with 4-pane overlight cutting into keyed lintel; eaves band; cyma-moulded kneelers;
ashlar coping. Rear: a first floor window opening with keyed lintel. Left gable:
first floor of brick with stone quoins on right; massive cambered timber lintel
to cart shed opening; above it a segmental brick-arched window, slatted with 4-pane
overlight and with stone sill. Interior: 3 large-scantling cross-beams to cart-
shed; granary has king-post roof trusses, two S-shaped tie-beams and tusk-tenoned
purlins.
