House, possibly former bobbin mill. Early C18 with Cl9 restoration.
Coursed squared gritstone to south front, rubble rear and gable walls,
pantile roof. A double-pile house of 2 storeys with attic , 3 first-floor
windows. Central 4-panel door with top 2 panels glazed; flanking and first-
floor windows are sashes, all in sawn stone surrounds. Rear: 2-light
double-chamfered mullion window with round-headed stair window above. Left
return: two 2-light double-chamfered mullion windows lighting attic . Right
return: straight flight of steps to board door in first floor; single-light
attic window to left. Outbuilding attached to right - not of special
