Cottage. C16. Timber framed and plastered with gabled peg tile roof. 2 bay
former in-line open hall house with C20 extension bay at east end. Of one
storey with attics and 3 gabled dormers in south roof slope. Large stack
against west end with wide offsets and single storey west extension with gabled
peg tile roof. Windows are C19 and C20 casements. Complete parlour/hall
partition with bench peg holes and 2 door openings. Long curved interval wall
bracing and C16 floor with stop chamfered joists. A remarkably small example of
a hall house which has had its eaves line raised at later date.
