House. Early C17 or earlier, altered in C19. Timber framed, plastered, roof
thatched. 3 bays facing S, with external stack at left end, enclosed by small
extension in C19. 2-storey lean-to extension along whole length of rear, with
one internal stack and slate roof, C19. 2-window range of C19 sashes with
marginal lights, and central thatched porch, wholly obscured by creeper at time
of survey. Grouped diagonal shafts. Left return wall faced with red brick in
Flemish bond to eaves level. In rear wall, 2 C19 horizontally sliding sashes of
18 lights, and on first floor, one 3-light window with wrought iron casement,
incomplete, and rectangular leaded glass. Interior inspection refused in June
1984. RCHM 9 and Plate, p.189.
