Wrongly shown on OS map as Post Office. Detached cottage. Late
C17. Flint and limestone chequers, tiled roof with coped verges
and brick stack to left. Gable end baffle entry. Two-storey, 2-
windowed; casements. C20 door to left with flat wooden hood on
brackets, 3-light and 2-light casements to right inserted in former
mullioned casements, retaining hoodmoulds. First floor has 3-light
and 2-light casements in former mullioned casements. Right return
has 2-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement with hoodmould to
first and attic floors, coped verges. Left return has 1-light
casement to attic, attached C20 extension with hipped roof. Rear
has 2 and 3-light casements. Interior not accessible at time of
survey (August 1985), but said to have chamfered beams with ogee
stops.
