Cottage. Circa early C18, extended in C19, in 1970s and in 1980s. Painted and
rendered stone rubble and cob. Thatched roof with hipped ends. Thatched roof over
rear C20 wing with gable end.
Plan: Two room single depth plan with small unheated room on left and entrance to
left of centre, entering directly into large hall-kitchen on right, heated by end
stack. Circa C19 outshut added to rear right, remodelled when a one-room plan
extension was added in a wing to rear right in the 1970s. Rear wing further extended
by one-room plan extension in 1980s thereby forming an overall 'L' shaped plan.
Exterior: Two storeys. Asymmetrical two window front. Entrance to left of centre
with C20 glazed porch. C19 window to right. 4-pane C19 casement and C19 2-light
casement on first floor.
Interior: Internal partitions removed. C18 bowtell moulded floor joists and roughly
chamfered timber lintel to fireplace.
