A pair of houses. Early C19. Flint and white brick; plaintiled
roof with a brick dentilled eaves cornice. The east end wall
is plastered in the gable.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, attics and cellars. 2 window range:
12-pane sashes in flush cased frames with flat gauged arches.
2 doorways, both in panelled reveals with reeded pilasters and
flat cornices: No.14 4-panel, No.15 6-panel with the top 2
panels glazed. 2 gabled dormers with fluted bargeboards have
2-light small-paned casement windows. A large central
chimney-stack has a shaft faced in flint with brick dressings.
INTERIOR: No.15 has a brick-lined cellar, formerly with a
fireplace, which is used as a room. A timber-framed partition
wall between the 2 houses; very small main beams. The
chimney-stack is of re-used Tudor brick; the ground storey
fireplace has a shallow segmental brick arch. A C19 rear
extension to No.15 has an upper 16-pane sash window in a flush
cased frame.
