Public house, early C19, altered in late C19. Painted brickwork, Flemish bond,
slate roof. Double pile plan with central entrance, one internal chimney stack
and one in each side wall. 2 lean-to extensions at rear. 2 storeys. 2 bay windows
with late C19 sashes, glazed door with scroll-bracketed doorhead and shallow doorcase.
On first floor, 3 late C19 sash windows. Hipped roof of shallow pitch, the ridges
forming 3 sides of a square, open to the rear (NW).
