House. Early C19. Plum coloured Flemish bond brick with painted
stone dressings and slate roof. Three storeys. Entrance front:
three bays symmetrically disposed. Central ground floor doorway with
painted stone surround having Tuscan columns to either side supporting
dosserets and an open pediment with fanlight. To either side are
windows of 4 x 4 sash panes with stone sills and stone wedge lintels.
Three similar windows to the first floor and three windows of 4 x 2
panes to the second floor. Hipped roof. The rear has a long wing
extending at the left.
Interior: The staircase hall has an enriched cornice with triglyphs
to the frieze and an open well staircase of 3 flights. Two ground
floor rooms have black marble chimney pieces with 1/4-columns to the
corners. Plain fire surrounds to the first floor with hob grates.
