Road bridge carrying Portland Drive over the Macclesfield Canal,
circa. 1827 by William Crosley. Yellow sandstone coursed rubble with
ashlar dressings. Single span bridge having a horseshoe arch with
voussoirs and a projecting keystone which rises to connect with the
band below the parapet. Battered walling to either side and curved
retaining walls which terminate in square piers. Chamfered coping to
the top of the parapet.
