Farmhouse, circa 1870, built as part of the Tollemache Estate. Red
brick with tile roof. 2 storeys and attic, 4 bays including gable.
Sandstone plinth. Door on strap hinges in porch with front posts,
brick side cheeks, arch-braced head, cross bracing in apex and gable
roof with finial. 2-to-5-light cast iron lozenge windows with stone
sills and heads. One hexagonal bay. Attic windows in gable, with
planted timbers, and gabled dormers, all with finials. The east
elevation gable also has planted timbers. The 2-bay rear wing (north)
has cast iron lattice windows. Chimneys with divided flues above
weathered stone stack band.
