Farmhouse, early C17, with alterations and additions. Timber frame
with plastered panels and tile roof. 2 storeys, 4 bays, "H" shaped
plan. The gabled end-bays are slightly jettied at first floor and
eaves levels and have carved post-consoles below the bressumers.
Replaced oak bevelled mullion and transome windows. Central oak door
with flush panels, diminished stiles, and upper section, between two
muntins, glazed. There is loggia fronting the central bays and
filling the space between the projecting gabled end bays, this is
supported by two oak posts. The wall above the loggia has planted
timbers. The rear (west) elevation has the original corner posts but
the gables have planted timbers.
Interior: Ovolo moulded beams and exposed ceiling joists.
