Farmhouse, built as part of the Peckforton Estate, circa 1870. Red
brick with tile roof. 2 storeys and attic, 3 bays. "L" shaped plan
completed by south-east wing. The half glazed, studded, door with
lower panels boarded, false strap hinges and overlight with glazing
bars is fronted by a brick porch. The porch has cast-iron lattice
side lights and a pitched roof with a timbered gable and a finial.
Three-light, cast-iron, hexagonal pane casements, with elliptical
arches to ground and first floor windows. Attic windows are two-light
cast-iron lozenge casements in dormers with gable roofs and finials.
The side elevation (east) has 2-light dormers and an added single
storey slate roofed lean-to. Gable-end stacks with separated flues,
rising from weathered ridge level band, and heavy overhanging caps.
