Cottages, mid C17, with later additions. Rendered brick and timber
framing with plastered brick nogging, formerly thatched now with tile
and corrugated metal roofs. Single storey and attic. A total of 3
bays with C20 additions to the east cottage. The east cottage has
timbers in facade and gable in small framing. The west cottage is
mainly rendered brickwork. Some windows have leaded lattice glazing,
others are cast-iron lattice casements. Upper windows in gables and
dormers. The roof of the west cottage is corrugated metal sheeting;
the roof of the east cottage is tiles. Old brick stacks.
Interior: Bevelled beams and exposed ceiling joist, inglenook.
