Accommodation bridge over the main line of the Shropshire Union Canal,
circa 1826 (consultant T.Telford). Blue brick in English Bond and
stonework. Elliptical skew arch on stone base and metre high level
brick abutments. One-brick-deep outer face to arch and projecting
stone carriageway band. Cast-iron rubbing posts to angles and paved
tow path. Humped bridge with splayed approach walls, rounded stone
parapet coping and 4-way rounded end-pier caps.
