Coach house and stableblock. C18, with C19 reworkings. Mostly mottled red
brick, with repairs in yellow brick. Clay tile roofs. 2 storeyed rectangular
block bordering road, stableblock slightly taller than coach house. Road
Elevation: only 2 small single lights and 2 ventilation holes. N Elevation:
Stableblock to LH. 2 doorways to ground floor, 2 hayloft doorways to first
floor, all plank doors. Ground floor has 3 single lights with glazing bars.
First floor has 2 2-light leaded casements. Ground floor openings have
cambered heads. Coach house to RH. Ground floor has 3 carriage arches of
differing heights, all with cambered heads. 2-light leaded casement with
cambered head between 2 LH arches. LH arch retain one leaf of double plank
doors. First floor has 2-light window to LH end. W gable end of coach house
has 3 rows of doveholes with landing platforms to attic level. Included for
group value.
