House, formerly a rectory. C16, reworked and extended C19. Timber framed
construction, partly exposed with brick of plaster infilling, partly under
colourwashed render. Later reworkings and additions in colourwashed brick.
Clay tiled roofs. Original block apparently T-plan with N cross-wing probably
a C19 rebuilding or addition. Central block of 2 storeys and attics, cross-
wings of 2 storeys. E Elevation: whole elevation rendered and colourwashed.
Central block has C19 canted bay to ground floor, 2-light casement to first
floor, and 2 gabled dormers containing 2-light casements to attic. LH gable
is jettied at first floor level. 2-light casements, 2 to ground floor, one to
first floor, latter surmounted by moulded label. RH gable has porch flanked
by single lights to ground floor and 2-light casement to first floor, all
windows with moulded labels. Porch has 4-centred archway with dripmould, and
shelters part-glazed door. Most casements have leaded lights. Brick multiple
ridge stack to central block, integral side stack to LH wing, and external
side stack to RH wing. S Elevation: timber framing partly exposed. Variety
of 2 and 3-light casement windows, mostly C20 replacements with leaded lights.
Vertical panel door to LH. Red brick, multiple ridge stack.
