Public house. Circa early C19. Killas rubble with brick arches over the openings.
Dry Delabole slate on the right with brick chimneys over the gable ends; higher
scantle slate roof on the left with half-hipped end on its left.
Plan: Overall 1-shaped plan. House with 2 rooms at the front, on the right;
integral cottage on the left with 1 room at the front, on the left. Deep wing at
right angles behind the right-hand room of the house; service room behind the
cottage.
Exterior: 2 storeys. Overall 4-window front. House, on the right has nearly
symmetrical 3-window front with central round-headed doorway (other openings have
shallow segmental arches). Wider window left of doorway. Cottage (left) has doorway
on its right, overlight. C20 panelled doors. Circa late C19 or C20 horned sashes
with glazing bars.
