House, formerly The Steamer public house. C16, reworked C20. Timber framed
structure with colourwashed plaster infill. Thatched roof. L-plan, LH block
of one storey and attics, RH cross-wing of 2 storeys. LH block has 2 2-light
casements to ground floor, with 2 3-light casements and one 2-light casements
under eyebrow dormers to attic. RH gable has one 4-light casement to each
floor. All windows are C20, with leaded lights. RH gable has plank door under
C20 open porch with tiled gabled hood. LH block has rebuilt red brick
multiple ridge stack. Almost in line with this is ground floor timber frame
panel with 4-centred head, possibly a blocked doorway.
