Pair of houses, RH property (Ivy Cottage) of slightly broader proportions.
Later C18. Red brick, with diamond patterning formed by vitrified headers.
Slate roof, shared by both properties. Each house has 3 window facade, 2
storeys and attics. Sashes with glazing bars, ground floor ones under gauged
brick heads. 4 box dormers contain 2-light casements with glazing bars.
Surrounds have reeded pilasters supporting moulded cornice hoods. Doorway of
Lime Cottage (LH) surmounted by blind windows. Brick band at first floor
level. Moulded timber eaves cornice. Various red brick ridge and gable end
chimney stacks.
