Public house. Circa 1600. Timber framed with colourwashed brick infill.
Clay tile roof, L-plan, 2 storeys, LH projecting wing with lower roofline than
main block. One storey and attics 2-bay additional block to L gable end, also
timber framed with colourwashed roughcast front. Variety of casements, mostly
leaded. Front elevation has 2 to ground floor and 3 to first floor of main
block, and 2 to ground floor and one to gabled dormer in attic of lower block.
Lean-to C20 porch within angle to L.C20 door with flat hood between 2 windows.
Rebuilt red brick multiple stack at junction with projecting wing, red brick
stack at junction with lower E block, integral red brick stack to E gable end
of lower E block. Various C20 additions to rear.
