House. Circa 1600. Timber framed construction with rendered exterior, that
to front incised to imitate ashlar. Clay tile roof. 3-room plan, 2 storeys.
2 3-light casements to ground floor, one 3-light and 2 2-light casements to
first floor. Off-centre front doorway has part glazed door, and doorhood on
cut brackets. 2 red brick chimney stacks. E elevation (to Water Lane) has
plinth of coursed limestone rubble and brick, and is jettied at first floor.
The single storeyed outbuildings bordering Water Lane are timber framed, half
with a limestone rubble plinth and roughcast render, half with frontage
rebuilt or encased in brick, the whole with clay tile roof.
