Farmhouse. Late C18 or early C19. Red Flemish bond brick with black
headers and a slate roof. Three storeys. Entrance front: three bays
formerly symmetrically disposed. To the centre at ground floor level
is a projecting porch of late C19 date with double doors and a
rectangular overlight with wedge lintel. The flanks of the porch
have sash windows with stone sills and wedge lintels. To the left of
this is a sash window of 4 x 4 panes with a stone sill and wedge lintel
and to the right is an imposed C19 tripartite window with a lengthy
sill and wedge -lintel. To the first floor are three windows of 4 x 4
sash panes resting on an ashlar band and all with wedge lintels. To
the second floor are three windows with 4 x 3 sash panes with stone
sills and stone wedge lintels, Stone cornice above supporting a
shallow stone parapet. Hipped roof, Chimney stacks to either side.
Extensive C19 additions to the rear.
