Sikes tomb chest, approximately 7 metres south-south-west of Church of St. Cuthbert.

Tomb chest. Mid-C18 altered. Commemorates Catherin (sic), wife of William Sikes (d.1742). Sandstone. Panelled sides with rusticated quoins; on lid a shouldered round-arched panel with moulded surround and fluted keystone, stylised winged angel heads in spandrels: elegant inscription beginning with raised decorated initial "H".
Additions: William, son, (d.1746); the said William (d.1764); and Thomas, son (d.l834). Modern lettered panel inserted at each each.
