Barn. Mid - late C17 with mid - late C18 extension. Coursed grey
gritstone and rubble, graduated stone slate roof. 4 bays. Quoins. North
side: original byre door to far right, with chamfered quoined jambs and 3-
centred arch to lintel, the right quoins of the doorway also the building
quoins. The central and left bays built out as a cart entrance porch and
calf boxes, all under a cat-slide roof: 2 board doors with tie-stone jambs
to left, a projecting reset C17 blocked doorway to left inside cart porch.
Bulbous kneelers and gable coping to right. Rear: inserted winnowing door
with plain jamb and lintel to left of centre; loading door below eaves,
centre, with reused C17 chamfered surround. Right return: finely jointed
rubble masonry with through stones; a small mucking out door left of
centre. Interior: 2 fine king-post trusses and 1 collar beam truss.
