River Walk
GV II
Former Cotton Mill, now in multiple occupation, early C19. Squared rubble,
stone slate roof. Three storeys, with eight bays to the stream and seven bays
to the rear. Rusticated quoins, coped gables with kneelers, and a small hip to
the longer stream side. The south gable end has loading doorways, now all
converted to windows, and a small bellcote at the apex. The rear is similar but
first floor has a loggia of round-headed archways which are a recent alteration
using only the jambs of the former windows. The roof has been altered to take
rooflights.
