2 houses, then farmhouse and granary, now 1 house. Late C17 - early C18,
with later alterations. Roughcast rubble, pantile and Welsh slate roofs. 2
storeys, 2:3 first-floor windows, and added rear outshut to right-hand
house. House to left: central part-glazed 6-panel door in quoined ashlar
surround with ogee moulding to arris. To its right, large 4-pane sash
window; to its left, elevation obscured by single-storey range projecting
forward. First floor: 2-light casement window; sash window with glazing
bars with exposed sash box, the lintel from a 2-light mullion window.
Pantile roof. Brick stack to left end. House to right: central part-glazed
6-panel door in quoined ashlar surround with ogee moulding to arris. To
left and right, canted bay windows with flat lead roofs. First floor: bash
windows with glazing bars with exposed sash boxes and ashlar sills and
lintels. Welsh slate roof. Brick end stacks. Rear, front left house:
quoined surround to segmental-arched opening, formerly to granary, now
blocked. Left return: two C20 ground-floor 4-pane sash windows; first-floor
single-light ashlar chamfered window. Right return: ground-floor blocked
single-light window; first-floor blocked single-light ashlar chamfered
window. Formerly called Close House Farm.
