House. Early-mid C19. Coursed sandstone to front elevation, rubble on other sides, Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Quoins. Central 4-panel door in raised ashlar surround, with bases, 3 paterae on frieze and moulded arris; Tuscan corbels, each with a patera, support the cornice. Sash windows with glazing bars in raised ashlar surrounds. Shaped kneelers, ashlar coping. Brick end stacks. To right, single-storey garage with leaved board doors. The house belonged to the village butcher, who slaughtered animals in the rear outbuildings and sold meat from a shop here. Included for group value.
