House, 1673 with C18 alterations and additions. Rubble with stone slate roof. Single
range of 2 storeys. The main facade is of 2 bays, with a string that forms a
dripmould to the ground floor windows. These are double chamfered but have modern
glazing and the right hand one has a C19 unmoulded mullion. The first floor windows
are similar and have been heightened with the wall. Two chimneys, one of which may
have had a fire window on ground floor right. Above this is a single round-headed
light. The string steps up over a shield with "WS 1673". To right is an addition
with IW 1791 scratched on lintel. At rear of main block is one double chamfered
window lacking its mullion.
Inside is the former gable entrance with chamfered jambs, exposed beams and the
bressumer of the right hand fireplace (itself now altered). Heavy tie beam roof.
