Former house and stables. House probably mid C18 with C20 alterations. Former stables dated 1809 with late C19 and C20 alterations. Rendered, painted stone dressings, stone slate roof.
House: central staircase plan. Two storeys, three bays. Central entrance has moulded surround and recessed half glazed door c1900. On ground floor to left and right are two large canted bay windows c1900, the roofs of which extend over the entrance to form a hood. Upper floor has two three-light flat-faced mullioned windows and a central single-light window; C20 casements. Chamfered quoins at former gables and right-hand ridge stack at former gable, now at junction with former stable (qv).
Former stables to right, two storeys, three bays. Left-hand entrance has Gibbs surround and painted datestone over lintel inscribed W. E./Ls sW; plank door. Central waggon entrance has segmental hood and keystone; two-leaf plank doors. Right-hand entrance and window to right on c1860 with vermiculated surrounds, round heads and keystones; plank door and fixed light respectively, two keyed pitching eyes to left have vermiculated surrounds; now fixed lights. Left-hand two-light recessed flat-faced mullioned window also on upper floor; C20 casements. Gatepiers and wall: millstone grit piers have square bases; octagonal shafts and plain band below fluted caps. Curved wall and coping to left-hand gatepiers; railings now missing.
