4/3 Park Farmhouse

G.V. II

Farmhouse. Late C18 with some later alterations. Sandstone rubble with
limestone dressings, hipped slate roof of shallow pitch with deep eaves and
central well, stone stacks, some pantiles and plain tiles. 2 storeys and
3 windows, all sashes in flat architraves with cills, central 4-panelled door,
overlight with decorative glazing, flat hood on console brackets, band course
returned to sides. Left return has 2 sashes at ground floor and one at first
floor right, C20 single storey lean-to to left. Right return has 3 sashes at
ground floor, first floor sash left and right, lean-to with 2-light casement to
right. Rear has 2 similar first floor sashes, pantiled lean-to along rear, C20
single storey addition with porch; attached to rear right a single storey
outbuilding with plain tiled roof, door with heavy timber lintel to left, 3 doors
and 2 windows under eaves to rear, partially in C20 blockwork.
