Including Nos 3 to 5 (consec) The Causeway. One building. Late C18. 2 storeys,
red brick, tile roof, hung sash windows upper floor. 2 Venetian windows (one on
Cambridge Street elevation with glazing bars). Doorcase on Cambridge Street has
panelled pilasters with entablature and ornamental fanlight with 6 glazed panel
door. The right hand Venetian window retains the original opening but is converted
to a shop window, central door with fanlight. Tripartite windows on 1st floor.
Brick stacks. Nos 3 to 5 The Causeway have 7 windows with one Venetian. Modern
shops and bank frontage. Carriage arch with keystone and impost blocks. Once the
coaching inn of Godmanchester.
