Dated 1827, architect Gallier but reconstructed in facsimile 1960; the wooden bridge was replaced in 2010. Single span footbridge of which the parapet is of solid gault brick with stone coping at either end, and between is entirely timber of a Chinese Chippendale character, hence the bridge's name.
