Barn converted to 6 cottages, then converted again to 2 houses. c.1700, mid
C19 and early C20. Timber framed, plastered, long straw thatched roof with 2
C19 brick ridge stacks. Two storey 6 original timber framed bays with queen
strut roof. East front, No 29 has an off-centre plank door with to the left a
3 light C20 casement and to the right 2, 2 light C19 sliding sashes, and
beyond a passageway. Above a 2 light C20 casement and to the right 2, 2 light
C19 sliding sashes. No. 29A has an off-centre-stable door flanked by single 2
light C19 sliding sashes and beyond to the right a 3 light C20 casement.
Above 3, 2 light C19 sliding sashes. West front No. 29 has a glazed door to
the right linked to a 3 light-C19 casement, to the left a linked 2 light and 3
light C19 casement with passageway beyond and above 3, 3 light C19 sliding
sashes. No. 29A has an off-centre pair of glazed doors and a large glazed
porch, with to the right a single-and to the left-2, 3 light C19 casements,
and above 3, 3 light C19 sliding sashes. Interior has some exposed timber
framing.
