Cottage. Early C18 with C20 addition at rear. Pebble dash render on timber frame,
pantile roof, brick ridge stack. Single storey and attic. Three bays; lobby entry
and chimney stack with winding stair at rear in the central bay. Entrance door, in
plain timber frame, with glazed upper panels. To either side, a 2-light horizontal
sliding sash with glazing bars (4x3 panes). A C20 window in each gable and one in
rear wall. Internally, fire places to both front rooms reduced in size by inserted
C20 surrounds. Cupboard to right of fireplace in east room has a fragment of
medieval window moulding built into wall. In attic rooms, the front purlins are
supported by curved braces off posts in the cross frames.
