Formerly's a pair of houses.
Early c19 brick house. 2 storeys. 3 window range, casements with glazing
bars. The doorways have simple architraves and cornices. A single storey
addition extends on the north west end, with a pantiled roof. The roof
of the main block is tiled (C20). the house was restored and renovated
in 1971. Included for group value.
Nos 54 to 64 (even), Ely Maltings, & No 68 (Malting Cottage) form a group with
Nos 51 to 53 (consec), Malthouse adjoining No 53, Quay House, & No 55 and the
house adjoining No 55 Waterside.
