House. Early C19 with earlier features. Timber framed and plastered with
slate, hipped, central well roof. Of 2 storeys with attics and of square plan
form. The west side has a large stack of 5 octagonal shafts now cement
rendered. This and the front has a large painted timber dentilled cornice. The
north and east sides have coved plaster eaves. The north elevation has one
leaded light casement dormer and there are 2 similar windows on the east side.
The front has angle pilaster strips and a paired double hung sash window with
small panes each side of a similar but single, double hung sash. The ground
floor has 2 similar windows and a central projecting porch. This has a flat
top, half columns against the walls and full Tuscan columns of smaller diameter
supporting the outer face. The early C19 door has 6 panels and a semi-circular
fanlight with Gothick intersecting glazing bars.
