War Memorial. 1920s. Portland stone. Shaped plinth above 2 rectangular steps surmounted by plain Latin Cross. The West side has a projecting central panel which bears the inscription "THIS CROSS/IS ERECTED/IN MEMORY OF/THE MEN OF THIS PARISH/WHO LOST THEIR LIVES IN/THE GREAT WAR 1914-1919". Inserted below this are listed the men who died in the 1939-45 war and at either side, on the recessed panels, are the names of those who died in the first war. There is a simple moulding to the bottom and top. The reverse of the plinth and the sides are flat. The cross has a flared socle.
The memorial stands in the churchyard to the west of the Church of St Andrew [q.v.]with which it has group value.
