Brewery, now house. C18. Timber framed, mainly weatherboarded, front elevation
with exposed framing and C20 brick nogging on ground floor, roughcast render
above, roofed with handmade red plain tiles. Rectangular plan with long axis at
right angles to street, one axial stack, one to left of ridge. C19 single-
storey extension of red brick in Flemish bond, roofed with slate, to rear left,
with internal stack at rear left corner. 2 storeys and attics. 2 C20 metal
casements on each of 3 floors. Off-centre 6-panel door with C20 metal
side-light. Gambrel roof, half-hipped at front only. C20 metal casements in
left return and rear elevation; no apertures in right return. Primary straight
bracing. Included for group value. Formerly Bright's brewery.
